  • Why l Want To Be The Next Governor
  •
  • I.PRINCE ENIOLA OJAJUNI JOSEPH
  •    have seen the plight of my people. Governance has been mere trials and we all know that things can be far better than what it is today.
  •
  •  l am here to make a difference, to deliver the real dividend of the democracy in the health sector, transportation,  infrastructure and total poverty alleviation through various empowerment programmes.
  •
  • I understand where the shoes pitch because l started with a humble beginning. As a young person who developed an interest in his mother’s business, l helped my mother in selling dried smoked fish.
  •
  • This journey of yesteryears has also prompted my philanthropist gestures in giving back to society.
  •
  • I, helped several women,  children, and men who seek supports in different ways. I also set up a scholarship scheme to assist over 3,000 students across the 18 Local Government in Ondo State.
  •
  • The scholarship programme will admit the indigenes of Ondo State into the Pan African College of Education in Kwara state.
  •
  •  This has placed me high in the society. I will also use my vast experience as a consultant to the then Oceanic Bank on investment banking and also a consultant to metropolitan bank on investment and strategy to expand the scope of businesses and investment into d state.
  •
  • PROFILE OF PRINCE ENIOLA OJAJUNI JOSEPH
  •
  • I was born on the 28th of December 1978 to the royal family of Ojajuni Karaki, descendant of Mesere family in the Ugbo Kingdom, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
  •
  •    Ojajuni is one of the famous families in Ilaje Local Government Area, having children across the world, and in different ministries and agencies across Nigeria who have made a mark in their chosen careers.
  •
  • I had his Primary School education in Ebute- Ipare Primary School, Ilaje Local Government Area, Ondo State. From there, he proceeded to Ajao Estate High school in Anthony Village, Lagos.
  •
  • Eniola secured admission to the prestigious Lagos State University (LASU) in Ojo, Lagos, where he studied Law for his first degree and then proceeded to Ghana Business School to gain knowledge in Business Administration.

  •  Ojajuni  had been to various business schools across African countries and in Europe. He started his business career at a very tender age.
  •
  • My enthusiasm towards this business prompted some Lebanese who dealt with the importation of Fish at Ijora Olopa, Ijesha, to advise him to register a company that would enable him to import Sardine Fish.
  •
  • His wisdom suggested to the Lebanese that instead of importing Sardine Fish, Nigeria can become a major producer of Sardine Fish since the commodity is in abundance in the coastal areas of Ondo State and other riverine areas in Nigeria. All that was needed was branding and packaging.
  •
  •  The Lebanese developed interest in this idea and a proposal was written in this regard to the then Ondo State Governor, Late Olusegun Agagu in 2011.
  •
  • The then Ondo State Government was pleased with the proposal but due to lack of infrastructure, the implementation of the project was stopped.
  •
  • In the same 2011, l. proceeded to import wines and commodities. I am a consultant to Vega Foods, Singapore on Africa Investment and also a consultant to Delta State Investment Agency on Direct Investment.
  •
  • I have successfully written over 200 proposals to investors including over 25 state Governors, past and present in Nigeria.
  •
  • I have  has also written over 1,500 articles in the past three years on Investment and National Policy for Local newspapers in Nigeria and abroad.
  •
  • MY JOURNEY INTO POLITICS

  • I began my journey to Politics while in School. I once served as Students Representatives Council (SRC) in Lagos State University (LASU) session which led him to become a member of the Alliance for Democracy (AD).
  •
  • I contested for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Kosofe constituency II in 2015 under the Alliance for Democracy. In 2016, l was an aspirant during the Ondo State Gubernatorial Election.
  •
  •  In 2017, at the Yoruba Youth Summit, l was presented with the creative leadership award by the voice of Yoruba Youth.
  •
  • Also in the same year, l was presented an award by the African Youth Initiative in Ghana as one of Africa’s Enterprising Youth and was awarded as Distinguished Ondo State Young Personality of the year 2019 by the most popular magazine in Ondo state, The Hero
  •
  • Still relentless in making my dream for a better Nigeria a reality, Prince contested for the 2019 Presidential Election in Nigeria under the platform of Alliance for Democracy (AD). I was among the first set of Young Nigerians to declare his intention for the Country's number one seat.
  •
  • I later stepped down for Gbenga Hashim-Olawepo of People's Trust Party (PTP) in expectation to produce a third force movement.
  •
  •  Ojajuni  held different meetings with Gbenga-Hashim alongside other party Leaders of AD. After finding out that Gbenga-Hashim works for the People Democratic Party (PDP),  he decided to withdraw his support.
  •
  • After several consultations and deliberations in search of a vibrant youth who can lead Nigerians,    Ojajuni  picked Omoyele Sowore who was contesting under African Action Congress (AAC).
  •
  • I adopted Sowore as the candidate to support in the 2019 General Elections and worked relentlessly for him in the South-West region. Since Sowore was a man from Ojajuni state and community,  it was easy to canvass and get along.
  •
  • To realise more of the dreams and aspirations,  Ojajuni is picking a ticket to run for the Governorship seat in Ondo State.
