ODESANYA AKEEM OKEOWO a.k.a Deomeek,is another talented singer who is ready to take the industry by storm,this upcoming act with great voice and passion is not leaving any stone unturned as he planned to drop a hot single titled ONE FOR THE BOY,a cover of Runtown(mad over you),and already working on a new one titled GHETTO TRIPS to thrill and impress his lovely fans. Demeek has not worked with any popular artist yet,but hoping and believing his dreams would come through which has started happening. In this interview with star concept news, the sonorous voice singer spoke on his journey into the entertainment industry and other challenges.... Why the stage name deomeek? My stage name deomeek is coined fro my real name,the first three letters of my last name and the last four letters of my name,in rearrangement ODE AND KEEM...DEOMEEK When did you start music? I've been doing music underground since I waa young,back at 2009,back then write songs in books. My first section as a recording artist was with the song titled wish me well,but unfortunately the song didn't make it to light,non has tho,but hopefully we praying for better days. So I debut a new song titled MONKEY TRICKS which was loved by people,that gave me and go ahead that I'm capable to make it in music, so except more great jams from me soon. The upcoming track titled GHETTO TRIPS,is a track that we gonna push far and promote so well,it's about some fact and reality of life,been a striving figure since childhood and determinations to make it and goes through all sort of life challenge and be advised to live wisely and don't forget where you came and coming from. Are you in any record label? I'm not signed to any record label officially yet,but hoping to get one,I'm opened to any worthy record deal. How will you describe entertainment industry I'll only put that in few words and that is,strive,grind and hustle for yourself,mana is not gonna fall from heaven not anymore everyone is fighting for their greater self. Tell us about you education background I graduated from federal government college,ikirun,I'm looking forward to being enrolled to a university but that doesn't disturbed my music career. So why do you still want go to school after choosing as your career, or you planning to study music? Actually I'm a science student and in fact my dream cause was medicine,but now it just for the certificate to satisfy my parents and go back fully into my music career. Tell us the unique thing that makes you different from other artist I don't think I'm to figure that out in person my fans and listeners would do that for me,well got our qualities.. After you've released this tracks what more should we be expecting Just watch out for more greater projects,its gonna be a back-to-back hit What give you inspiration to write songs Things around me,happenings,the things I see. I moderate it all by listening to wizkid,burnaboy and other reggae acts like patoranking,Bob Marley, mavado,lucky dube and some others. Where do you see the brand Deomeek in few years to come? God knows best but I what I want and wish for is to be become a very successful musical act,create my own record label and help capable upcoming like me. In addition i love to go through star boy worldwide. Who is your role model in the industry If you've listened to my tracks you'd know for sure,I've always seen WIZKID babanla as a very perfect act to emulate, I also like burnaboy alot. They inspire me and I think they have achieved a lot in the industry,I love Nigerian music and even any song that is good enough to inspire me.lastly Bob Marley highs my spirit..
